The Beauty of Thai Buddhist Tradition

                   Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony

The Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony is one of the most important and joyful traditions in Theravada Buddhism. Held annually after the three-month Rains Retreat, this special event provides an opportunity for lay practitioners to offer robes and essential requisites to the monastic community. At Krabi International Meditation Center, the ceremony brings together people from different cultures to practice generosity, mindfulness, and gratitude. Whether you are a Buddhist or simply interested in Thai culture and meditation, you are warmly welcome to participate in this meaningful spiritual celebration. Your presence and support help sustain meditation teachings and contribute to the growth of a peaceful and compassionate community.
