KIMC's Story
The Krabi International Meditation Center was established in May 2025 with the intention of creating a meditation center for people from around the world, both Thai and foreign, who wish to learn traditional meditation techniques from Thai monks. Our organization is a non-profit charity, built on donations and the cooperation of all practitioners. We are committed to creating a truly immersive place for learning and practicing meditation. Although the center is still under construction and not yet complete, we are committed to offering meditation courses to both Thais and foreigners, helping everyone discover true inner happiness through the practice of Dhammakaya meditation, which is well-known and popular worldwide. Experienced and knowledgeable monks, who are inheritors of this tradition, will teach and guide all participants in a warm and friendly atmosphere, amidst the beautiful nature of Krabi's sea and mountains. May this place be your second home, a true place to rest your body and mind. May this be the starting point of your inner journey and the discovery of true happiness.

Meditation Technique
A Focus on Ease
We teach Thai Theravada meditation in the Dhammakaya tradition, that The Dhammakaya meditation method was revived in Thailand almost 100 years ago by Luang Pu Sodh Candasaro. It is one of the most popular meditation techniques practiced by Buddhists and non-Buddhists around the world. The method is simple, easy, and effective. The practice emphasizes balancing comfort and mindfulness u2014 when the body is at ease and the mind is calm, it naturally returns to its inner home. From there, a deep sense of contentment arises, touching us at the core.
Welcoming for Beginners
One of the most beautiful aspects of this meditation practice is that growth arises naturally u2014 not through force or struggle, but through deep relaxation and gentle letting go. Even if you have never meditated before, simply learning to relax the body and calm the mind can bring a sense of peace, clarity, and comfort from the very first session. Our approach is simple, accessible, and designed to help anyone feel comfortable and supported on their journey inward.
